Lesson 7: You can use black keys for your improvisation

<Confirmation>
Have you tried to play Score 5 and 6? Have you tried to create your own syncopation? How about to expand your improvisation to use all white keys. It is the fun part of jazz improvisation. You can be a composer.

<How you integrate Black keys to your improvisation. Step 1>
Now, we know there are five more keys in between lower C to higher C. There are total of 13 keys in between. Why cannnot we play black keys?

You are right to the point. Yes, we can play black keys as a part of improvisation. Since this is the lesson for people enjoy playing piano, as the first step, you have to remember that the black keys can be played as the passage to the next white key. Ab, is this and locates inbetween G and A.
Since G and A are authorized for the improvisation of C major, Ab is played as the passage note from either G to A or A to G. Like this

Likewise, Db is inbetween D and C Eb is between D and E, Gb = F and G, Ab = G and A、Bb = A and B.

<Sharpen up your sense of improvisation. Try all concievable combination of Notes>
Now how it could be if I play black keys everytime I move on white keys. OK?The point is if you like this improvisation.
Isn't there too much notes? Try for yourself. Sounds better to your ear, the better improvisation you have played.

Your assignment is to find out the best passage play to your ear. Find it out and let you family be critic for your improvisation. Enjoy and see you next week. Good day.

<Additional Note>
As the guide line, I have attached Score 7. There are white notes that are used passage to the next melody line as well. I believe you can identify it now after those 5 lessons. Well, if your have tried your way though
